Grey Lady
It all started at school. Lots of people, including me, saw the grey lady going past. She was scary. The teacher said it was just a projector, but it was not. This girl said “devil scratch my back” while the grey lady was there and it did! You could see her holding something; then she moved and could see someone. Then, the room went dark through the window. A light flickered, and she was gone. You could see some red stuff on the window. The girl that said “devil scratch my back” walked forward and got a bit of the red stuff on her shoe. She walked towards me and my mates and, when we looked at the floor as she passed, it looked like blood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Old Airendale Place
In my town, there’s this old legend about the Airendale Place. The legend is, during the Civil War, Rupert Airendale, the owner, went off to fight and left his wife alone in the Manor. While Rupert was gone, Amelia, his wife, picked up witchcraft. It was done in secret for some time but soon the people of the town found out. Before Rupert left, Amelia promised to meet him when he came back from the war, but the locals fearing her new craft, didn't want her to make it that long. On Halloween night, everyone in the town gathered together and hung Amelia outside her home.
Now it is said that Amelia still haunts the Airendale Place, waiting for her long gone husband. It is said that you can go out there Halloween night, and see her hanging, screaming "Rupert! Rupert!"

dark figure
Okay so my friend and I were going trick-o-treating for the last time and we decided to go to this new house built across from me. We rang the doorbell but no one came to the door. We rang it again and again, and right when we were about to give up and leave this dark figure came out of nowhere and grabbed me! It let go quickly and then ran by but as it did so, it scratched up my arm really bad. We tried to look for it but couldn’t find it, so we ran back to my house.
I cleaned up my wound and then we set back out. Everywhere we went we saw some dark figure. It scared us but we just thought it was a friend so we just tried to ignore it. We were walking down a lane and I saw some candy up ahead on the sidewalk. I ran up to get it but my friend didn’t follow me. I looked back and the dark figure had her! She started to disappear in the arms for the dark figure! All I remember was being hit hard on the head. I woke up in the hospital the next day with my friend in the other room hurt badly. The scratch on my arm was discolored and looked much worse than last night. I can’t remember anything except for waking up in the hospital.

one halloween night
Last Halloween my friend and I went out trick-o-treating and there was this old guy in an alleyway. He yelled to us "I will always see you tonight and forever!" We looked at each other and started running and every house we went to we’d see him. I still see him now on my way to school and back from school, but, 2 days ago, I was walking to the store and I saw him and he said that he will always be here…forever.
